No matter how many times he asks her to go to dinner, she turns him down. Until, she decides it might be the only way to get him to stop. Unfortunately for her, once she is at dinner with him, not only does she find him attractive, but he also isn't who he seems to be. He is funny, loves to read, and something haunts him.
When he reads her book, she knows it's hers but he doesn't, he gets upset because the hockey parts are all wrong. He agrees to read them and give her pointers (so she can tell her friend). This starts their true relationship, but when you have one person who doesn't want to change (her) and one who is hiding a terrible part of the past (him), is there any way can make a relationship to work?
