This was the first book by either author that I have read. I enjoyed all three books in this series and found that I couldn't stop reading until I found out what happened. I wish the last book would have been a little longer, but overall, I found this book intriguing. I liked the relationship between Silas and Charlie. I felt bad for them, due to the family drama and what had torn them apart. I was happy that they found a way to deal with their odd situation and that they didn't let what happened between their fathers to separate them. Charlie's dad, in my opinion, was an a##. I am glad that she finally figured out what he was really like. His brother and her sister were great side characters and I would like to find out more about them.
