Kelly Elliott's newest release, Made For You, is releasing tomorrow, 11/8/16.
Holden and Emylie were high school sweethearts, and promised to stay together even though he was going away to college. For awhile it worked, until he broke her heart without an explanation. All he told her was they were done. Emylie had to try to piece back together her broken heart. Holden regretted what he did, but kept the reason a secret.
When Holden finally, after three years, goes back home, things are about to change. Will they change for the better? Or will things get worse? While I didn't agree with the person Emylie chose to try to forget with (I personally believe she chose the one person, other than a relative, that she should have stayed away from), I understand why she tried to move forward. I also understand why Holden stayed with Daphne; however, I don't understand why he never confided in anyone. Maybe he and Emylie could have found a way to help each other and be happy sooner. Daphne is whole bag of nasty; maybe even worse than Rebecca from the Wanted Series.
I read anything and everything that Kelly writes, but this book was so good I couldn't put it down. I received a free ARC provided by the author/ publisher in exchange for an unbiased opinion. No type of compensation was made. There is no relationship/affiliation between the reviewer and the author/publisher.
If you want a book that gives you every emotion; hurt, anger, frustration, love, forgiveness and every other emotion you can think of, this book is for you. Great job Kelly.
