When you (not so secretly) want your best friend’s older brother and find yourself alone in a cabin for a weekend, things are bound to get steamy. I truly believe that Austin and Kristy were always meant to be together. It appears that the sister/best friend realized it and set the weekend up to force them together.
Austin, a firefighter, is living with his sister after a betrayal that cut to the bone. She needs the apartment for the weekend and suggests he go to the cabin the own. Unbeknownst to him she had already sent Kristy, who also needs a weekend away, there. Kristy made the worst mistake of her life when she started seeing her boss, who she caught cheating and is making her job insufferable.
Things are easy between Austin and Kristy and things get steamy pretty quickly. I adored Austin, but there were times that Kristy really got on my nerves and I wanted to shake some sense into her. I really enjoyed this book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
