I couldn’t believe how fast I was swept away. Being transported to the 1940’s where love and war were at the forefront, where I was an outsider looking in and saw a love bloom to its purest form, was something I haven’t experienced before. Scarlett and Jameson took me on a journey filled with sacrifices and heartache in which their love had to withstand the unknown. I was consumed with hope for Scarlett and Jameson and the beautiful life that they wanted and deserved. Their love was all-consuming, beautiful, and something to strive for.

Getting a second love story in the same book that left me equally in awe was unexpected. Scarlett and Noah had undeniable chemistry. Their push and pull was revitalizing and added fuel to their spark.. I was left entranced and feeling every bit of the unmistakable connection between Scarlett and Noah.

The Things We Leave Unfinished was a phenomenal and poignant story. Both of these romances left me breathless. Rebecca Yarros brought to life two live stories that will leave you breathless and wanting more. A timeless and transcending love story for the ages.
