REVIEW:
I really enjoyed Nolan and Clea’s story. Guilt has a way of dragging a person down and that is exactly what happened with Nolan, even though he didn’t really have anything to feel guilty about. His guilt, however, caused him to push Clea away. Clea has had a crush on Nolan since they met, but he hasn’t noticed her. She has helped him raise his daughter, who is the cutest little girl, but she has had enough.
I loved how strong she was when she finally told him how she felt, and after he rejected her. I also loved how he realized he messed up almost immediately and vowed to try to get a second chance. Some of the things he said and did when trying to get her to give him a second chance were so swoon worthy. Tally really helped them find some common ground, but will it be enough?
The chemistry and banter was great. Tally was a breath of fresh air. I loved this book and would recommend it. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
