His jaw clenches. “I’m trying to tell you everything. With the powers you have, you have the ability to make things happen. To shape the future. That’s why you were considered a liability to the Guardianship. That’s why when you break one of the rules, they kill you. And they do it swiftly and without notice. You could envision world wars, destruction, famines, plagues. And they would happen. You can start it, you can stop it, you can control it.
