Blurb
Rookie cop, Bridget McGuire’s hair matches her fiery temper.

Raised in a law enforcement family, she’s no stranger to crime, criminals, or the belief that you trust your gut.

When Bridget's cop-instincts are put on high alert, she realizes that something sinister is going on.

FBI special agent, Eli Gray,  is close to the entire McGuire family. He’s best friends with their oldest son, which is why he’s  steered clear of Bridget, their only daughter. When he discovers that Bridget has caught the attention of his number one suspect in a sex trafficking ring who preys on sexy redheads, Eli can’t stay away any longer.

Bridget's no damsel in distress.  She believes that she only needs one thing--a big time arrest under her belt.  But Eli knows just what she needs: an FBI agent in her pants.

Review:

Eli and Bridget were a wonderful couple.  She just graduated from the police academy and stumbled upon a criminal that the FBI has been looking for.  Unfortunately, when she pulls the man over, everything comes back clean so she has to let him go.  When Eli, an FBI agent, finds out, he immediately calls Bridget and demands that she come and talk to him.
She has secretly been in love with, or at least has had a crush on him, for years.  He also has been interested in her, but because he is best friends with her older brother, he has tried to stay away.  Now that she is involved in this case, even though he has asked her to stay out of it, he finds it harder and harder to stay away and to keep his feelings for her out of the equation.
As the search continues for the criminal, Eli realizes that she might be in harms way.  She wants to help find the criminal, because she feels guilty for letting him go.  What happens when things don't go the way either expects them too will determine their future.

The chemistry between Eli and Bridget was great.  I liked how she stood up to her brothers and made a point about them having no say about who she is with and treating her like a child when she is an adult.  I also liked how Eli confessed everything to her brothers and parents and wouldn't let them force him into staying away.  The end of the book was really sweet.  I can't wait to read more Iron Badges books.  I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

About Danielle
Before becoming a romance writer, Danielle was a body double for Heidi Klum and a backup singer for Adele. Now, she spends her days trying to play keep away from Theo James who won’t stop calling her and asking her out.
All of this happens before she wake up and face reality where in fact she’s a 50 something mom with grown kids, she’s been married longer than Theo’s been alive, and she now get her kicks riding a Harley.
As far as her body, she thanks, Ben & Jerry’s for that as well as gravity. By the way, she could never be Adele’s backup since she never stop saying the F-word long enough actually to sing.
Her books are about kickass women with even better shoes and the men that try to tame them (silly silly men).
