  From the first page until the last I was hooked. Under all the hate that Junior and Serena showed everyone, there was love. No matter how hard they tried to act like they didn’t, it was obvious and heartbreaking to see how the rules affected them.

The kids were all so strong and my heart broke multiple times. They were threatened and had to protect themselves, and boy did they step up when they had to. I felt so bad for Asher, but was proud of him for handling another situation they way he did.
There were so many emotions throughout this book that you need to read it for yourself. I don’t want to spoil it in any way, just know that you will have your heart broken and you will need to keep reading as fast as you can to see how it ends. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
