REVIEW:

  This is a wonderfully written story about Kaiden, a quarterback in his senior year of high school who can’t wait to get out of Rixon.  Not only did he have to transfer to the biggest rival school, but he has a lot going on at home. His life is football, until he meets Lily. Lily is also a senior, but she is bullied and shy. Only a few people know the extent of her turmoil and she never takes risks, until she meets Kaiden. 

  The angst and heartbreak in this book will have your heart beating faster than normal. She is off limits to him because her dad is his football coach, but he can’t stay away from the one thing that calms the crazy in his life. She knows she should stay away from him, for his sake, but she needs the strength he gives her to come out of her shell. 

  This couple goes through more than most in the few months that they are together, keeping it a secret. I adored Kaiden and how sweet and understanding he was with Lily. His home life was horrible, but he didn’t let it stop him. Lily was stronger than she realized or gave herself credit for. They truly complimented each other. 

  This was a great way to start a new series, as well as, see some characters from earlier books. I can’t wait to see what happens in upcoming books. I highly recommend this book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
