REVIEW:
This was a good book but was kind of dark in places. Poseidon and Ashley are polar opposites and when he discovers who she is, he can't believe that he started falling for her. She realizes that he is dangerous, but after seeing her boyfriend murdered in front of her, she also feels safe with him. There are some triggers in this book, especially when she thinks she found a way off of Poseidon's boat. Unfortunately for her, everything isn't as it seems. I understood why Poseidon responded to her dad in the way that he did, but I was upset with the way he treated her at the end of the book. It left on a cliffhanger and I need to know what happens next in their story. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
