Max Monroe never disappoints. This is three stories in one book and each will give you all the feels. If you haven’t read any books by this author, what are you waiting for?
Scoring the Billionaire is the love story between Wes and Winnie, but you also meet her adorably brilliant daughter Lexi. The friendship and work relationship was always going to be more, but seeing their chemistry combust was something else. Once they started they couldn’t stop and months went by. I could honestly feel the struggle they both had with commitment. He had never tried and she was left to raise her daughter on her own. I hated how his self doubts and concerns of someone who was, in all honesty, inconsequential in his life, had him self sabotaging the relationship. How he fixed his mistake was wonderful. I also enjoyed seeing the whole gang in this book.
Scoring Her was a nice catch up on the lives of the entire gang. With chapters from all six friends there was never a dull moment. There were some heartfelt moments, but also hilarious times. Again, Lexi was the cutest and fantastically awesome little girl. I great way to catch up on the lives of Thatch, Cassie, Kline, Georgia, Wes and Winnie.
Red, White, & You is an all new novella about Wes and Winnie. Once again we get to see everyone, including her four brothers and Lexi. While this one was mainly funny, there were some heartfelt moments. The struggles she and Wes have gone through and her confusion. His business being affected by the power outages. Her brothers and their opinions on love and marriage. Thanks can’t wait to see what happens with Jude and the rest of her brothers.
A fantastic box set with hilarious friends, quirky family and two Thatches?! I highly recommend this book and know you won’t be disappointed. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
