This was a little bit different of a book from Ms. Jamieson, but I enjoyed it. Trace and Romy had a lot of chemistry and an instant connection, but some unexpected news came between them. As they were working together, he was teaching her about being a witch, they grew closer and it became impossible to ignore or deny it.
They both had issues; he felt guilt and she never believed in her abilities because of the way she was raised, to overcome. I really enjoyed the slow burn, flirty aspect of this book. The intimate scenes were great and their banter was hilarious. I like how they each brought out the best in the other. I can’t wait to see what happens next with her sisters and friends.I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
