Rocked Bayou by Erin Nicholas Review

REVIEW:

I loved seeing Colin get flustered because of Hayden. It was even better that she was just as flustered as he was. They were truly perfect for each other.
Colin was floundering and searching for a new purpose after his last assignment ended, especially since it wasn’t just him that he was worried about. When Hayden shows up on the early morning hours, due to a stalker, he knows that his life as he knows it is over. Try as he might, he couldn’t stay away or let anyone else be her protector.
She was strong, independent and the caretaker of her family, but something about Colin made her feel safe and protected. She didn’t want anyone else but him to protect her. I loved the relationship she had with all of his friends/colleagues.
When he makes a comment about her career (due to a misunderstanding) what they have started building is destroyed and he has to work hard to get back in her life. I felt like she overreacted at this point and wanted to shake her.
I really enjoyed this book and these characters. They grew throughout the book and were truly made for each other. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.
