REVIEW:
Christmas Angels is a book about meeting the one when you are too young to know who you are seeing and having a second chance at forever. Matt and Liz met when they were young, when she was with her grandparents at their bed and breakfast. When it comes up for sale, she puts a bid on the property, as does he, and she wins. Once she arrives, she realizes the last owners gutted the place and hires Matt to help redo the place to it's old glory. She tells him and herself multiple times that she doesn't date people she works with. He was enraptured when they were younger, and he keeps telling himself that he doesn't want a relationship, but can't stop thinking about her. As they work together to bring the place back to what it should be, they grown closer.
This was a slow burn to Matt and Liz admitting the truth about how they feel, but it was worth it. There were times when both Matt and Liz drove me crazy, but that was just because I could clearly see that they were fighing being together and I wanted them to realize it as well. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend reading about this wonderful town and the people who live there.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
