At that very moment there were no words for me to speak to her. I had to show her that I loved her, even if I hadn’t said it yet.
I leaned down and kissed her imperfect spots and then smiled back at her. She giggled.
“The parts that you think are flaws are what I find the most beautiful.”
“Well, you are probably one out of a million men who would think that.”
“You don’t get it, do you?” I said, almost with a growl.
She shook her head rather than answering.
“There is not a thing about you, inside or out, that I don’t love. You are one of a kind, Blake… I knew it from the first moment we met. All these little things that you think are imperfections or you have been told are bad things, are things that I find special, unique. Things that make me fall for you even more.”
“See, Dylan, you did it again. You said the right things…”
“Now can you relax and let me see your beautiful body? I don’t know if I can wait much longer,” I said in a half questioning, half demanding way.
“If you take me to your bedroom.”
I stood up and in one big swoop lifted her up and took her to my bed. A place I had hoped we would spend quite a bit of time in. A place I knew would bring me closer, more addicted, to this woman I wasn’t going to live without.
Hook, line and sinker. I was a fool in love for sure and damn did it feel good.
