You Can Have Manhattan Review

Review:
I really liked this book and the story of how Scott and Sydney grew to love each other. Enemies at first, they get blackmailed into getting
married. She agrees to get married because she wants a promotion (CEO) and because she doesn't want to see her boss unhappy. She also knows that he is sick. Scott agrees to marry because his dad threatens to sell off land that he wants. They both do things purposely to get on the other's nerves.
When Scott takes his prank, he is pretending to live well below his means, too far and Sydney finds out, she leaves. Time apart makes them realize how much they actually like being around each other and how much they miss one another. When Syd comes back home after a business trip, will Scott be able to prove to her that he isn't what he had her believe?
The growth of the characters, both individually and as a couple, was great. They may have entered into the marriage believing one thing; pegging the other in the wrong light, but come away much more well rounded. The little things they did to each other were hilarious and Scott proved to be a likeable, if not a romantic, guy. Syd proved to herself that she isn't only about the job.
A wonderful book, with great characters. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
